Preparing for Rome: A Step Towards Inclusion and Sustainability<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

On September 12, 2025, Euro Mirada brought together a group of young coaches, volunteers, and community members in Fuentes de Andaluc\u00eda (Seville)<\/strong> for a dynamic information session ahead of our upcoming Job Shadowing<\/em> mobility in Rome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event took place in the beautiful Baroque Interpretation Center<\/strong>, a space that not only hosted our activities but also allowed participants to connect with the rich cultural heritage of the town. It was the perfect setting to reflect on how tradition, culture, and sport can work hand in hand to build stronger and more inclusive communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discovering Erasmus+ opportunities<\/strong>: Participants learned more about the Erasmus+ program and, in particular, the KA182-SPO action that frames our Sport4Empowerment<\/em> project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exploring key themes<\/strong>: Through non-formal education activities, we explored topics such as digital skills, inclusive and sustainable sports practices, and intercultural communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sharing expectations and challenges<\/strong>: Before the mobility, participants reflected on what they hope to learn in Rome, while also addressing common concerns such as language barriers and adaptation to a new context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Building team spirit<\/strong>: Dynamic exercises fostered collaboration, trust, and a sense of belonging among the group.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

What comes next?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The next stage of the journey will take our team of 10 coaches and volunteers to Rome, Italy<\/strong>, where they will observe how local organizations use sport to promote inclusion and sustainability. Upon returning, they will share these lessons with the wider community, ensuring that the benefits extend far beyond the participants themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Euro Mirada, we believe in the power of sport not just to play, but to transform lives, connect cultures, and build a more inclusive future<\/strong>. This session in Fuentes de Andaluc\u00eda was the first step\u2014and we are excited about the road ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
